There is nothing quite like enjoying that perfect cup of coffee or flavoursome brunch. Since opening in 2020, our goal has always been to provide each customer with exactly that. With what's been dubbed "The best coffee in Oxted" by our regulars, we pride ourselves on quality in every aspect of our offering. Our food menu combines quality ingredients with familiar flavours, offering something for everyone - no matter what the preference or dietary requirements.
We rebranded our Oxted brand from The Deli to Bru & Bear for 2024 ahead of our opening in Reigate in March 2024, we proudly provide you with delightfully delicious coffee which is prepared specially for each and every customer and an equally delicious brunch, lunch or baked treats to match.

We don't take bookings, so just pop down and grab a seat - and if you're out with your furry friends, come on in - we're dog friendly too!

Two friends, One passion
Matt and Lauren came together to bring their combined love of coffee and food to the community of Oxted. After navigating through the pandemic and adapting our offerings accordingly, we have proudly evolved into what we are today, now with two locations in Surrey. Our shared passion for good food and even better coffee has always been the main ethos behind Bru & Bear, and our wonderful team help us to ensure that every bite and each sip is matched with a welcoming atmosphere and good vibes.

We know what it’s like to get that intense craving for a great tasting cup of coffee so as soon as we tasted Beanberry's Javascript blend, we knew these beans would be our coffee of choice. Each cup is brewed to a specific method and then paired with our organic barista milk or non-dairy alternative steamed to silky perfection, allowing us to boast the best coffee in town!
The same is true for food. We've carefully selected ingredients of the highest quality we could find and put them into delicious flavour pairings to comprise our menu. We proudly cater for all types of diet, whether it's gluten free, vegan or none of these, there's something for everyone both in our bakery and on our menu. You can expect to order items aptly named after our favourite flavours from our travels, all the way from the Mediterranean right down to South Africa. Tasty simplicity is what we do best!
